Food and lodging are important sources of revenue for our City. We’ve had a great deal of success in attracting amateur sports events here. Now we’d like to do more. In cooperation with private sector partners and other agencies such as the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, we’re creating a new Convention and Visitors Bureau to help promote more tourism.

These new visitors not only sleep and eat, they buy gas, groceries and other goodies while they are in town. Their presence benefits everyone.
